The highest point in Georgia is Brasstown Bald at 4784 feet about sea level! Brasstown Bald is near two of our North Georgia towns of Helen and Blairsville.

Brasstown Bald
Brasstown Bald is located in the Chattahoochee - Oconee National Forest and the facilities are managed by the National Forest Service.
At the summit here are picnic areas, a general store with local products, hiking trails, museum and observation platform with a 360 degree view where you can see 4 states, - Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Hours of Operations
Brasstown Bald is open daily 10AM - 5PM with a $7 per person entrance fee for those 16 and over. There is a shuttle from the parking area to the summit and the fee covers this and other entrance fees.
