WNC around Sapphire Valley – Cashiers – Highlands:Once again - unstable moist air continues to dominate The High South area of Western North Carolina all week. Each day will see party-cloudy to cloudy skies with anywhere from a 30% to 60% chance of rain and thunderstorms each day. Temps will cool just a bit with highs starting out the week in the lower 70s and lows in the lower 60s. Concert on the Slopes this Week! The best concert venue in The High South! Relax on the base slope of Ski Sapphire Valley and listen to great Motown, Beach music and songs of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s!! Bring the family, friends, food and beverage and have a great experience!

Lake Glenville Dam Release this Saturday July 23rd!!! If you are up for a good hike, this is a must see at least once! Several times during the year Duke Energy release water out of Lake Glenville in order to maintain proper lake levels. The amount of water released changes High Falls into a thunderous giant! Those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer continue! Highs around 90 and lows in the lower 70s. The best chance of rain this week is Monday night thru Tuesday night, however, a chance exit each day this week. We have custom weather for each of our main North Georgia towns! Northeast Georgia

 Amicalola Farmers Market - Market opens Spring and is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. or sold out. The 2022 market will be held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until sold out or noon and every Wednesday and Friday 2:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. (or sold out) at the brand-new City of Dawsonville Farmers Market Pavilion located on Allen Street.


Town of Tallulah Falls Saturday Night Bluegrass Jam - So come join the pickers and the grinners for the best local bluegrass music in the area! Bring your lawn chairs and instruments and enjoy this downhome celebration of music and community. There is a bonfire so feel free to bring a picnic dinner and S’More fixins! It happens every Saturday night starting in April through October at Bluegrass Square in “downtown” Tallulah Falls on Main St.
